Savor the deliciousness of Garlic Parmesan Steak Bites, featuring tender sirloin marinated in garlic and Italian seasoning, seared to perfection, and coated in a rich garlic Parmesan blend. Ideal for appetizers or a main dish, these bites are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for added brightness)

Instructions

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes, trimming any excess fat if desired.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the steak cubes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Toss until the steak is well coated.
  3. Let the steak marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour in the fridge for deeper flavor.
  4. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  5. Add the marinated steak bites to the skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side without moving them, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  7. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and cover loosely with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  8. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  9. Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic for about a minute.
  10. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the steak bites and toss until melted and clinging to the meat.
  11. If desired, drizzle lemon juice over the steak bites for added brightness.
  12. Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter, arranging them attractively.
  13. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for color and freshness.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • These steak bites can be served with toothpicks for easy snacking at parties.
