Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine 1 packet of active dry yeast with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 cup of warm water. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
- Once the yeast is foamy, add it to the flour mixture along with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and mix until a dough forms.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- While the dough is rising, mix together 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 4 cloves of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley in a small bowl.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it onto a floured surface. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
- Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are close but not touching. Cover the dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- While the rolls are rising, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once the rolls have risen, brush them with the garlic mixture generously. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm, and don't forget to drizzle any remaining garlic butter on top!

Keywords: Make sure your water is warm, not hot, to avoid killing the yeast. Spoon flour into the measuring cup and level it off with a knife to ensure your rolls are light and fluffy.
