Description

Enjoy crispy Chicken Bacon Wraps filled with a creamy cheddar and cream cheese mixture, all wrapped in savory bacon. Perfect for dinner or game day snacking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: hot sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Rub the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  5. Spread a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture over one side of each chicken breast, leaving space around the edges.
  6. Lay two slices of bacon side by side, slightly overlapping. Place a chicken breast on top and roll the bacon around the chicken, tucking in the edges. Repeat for all chicken breasts.
  7. Use toothpicks to secure the ends of the bacon if necessary.
  8. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  9. Place the chicken bacon wraps seam side down in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bacon is golden brown.
  10. Move the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  11. Remove from the oven and let the wraps rest for 5 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and drizzle with hot sauce if desired.
  13. Slice the wraps into bite-sized pieces for serving.
  14. Serve with a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or creamy mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Ensure the chicken is pounded evenly for consistent cooking.
  • Feel free to customize the cheese filling with your favorite cheeses or add herbs for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
