Cinnamon Donut Bread Delight Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
- Optional: powdered sugar for drizzle
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- In a small bowl, mix together the 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
