  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions (7-9 minutes) until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain the noodles and set aside, drizzling with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  10. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  11. Add the drained egg noodles and toss to combine, using tongs to ensure even coating.
  12. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or water to reach desired consistency.
  13. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  14. Plate the chicken buttered noodles in shallow bowls.
  15. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot and creamy.
