  • Yield: 8 crescents 1x

Description

These Chicken Alfredo Crescents feature a creamy chicken filling wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, making them a delicious and easy-to-make dish perfect for any occasion. Ideal as a main course or appetizer, they are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook your chicken if not already done. Shred or dice it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the chicken mixture.
  5. Carefully open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it on a clean surface.
  6. Gently separate the dough into 8 individual triangles along the perforated lines.
  7. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  8. Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the pointed end, tucking in the filling and pinching the edges to seal.
  9. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly. Place the rolled crescents on the sheet, leaving space between each.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  11. Monitor the crescents as they bake. If they brown too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  12. Once baked, let the crescents cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
  13. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top before serving.
  14. Enjoy these crescents warm, either as a main dish or appetizer, paired with a side salad or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Allow crescents to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or microwave for a quicker option.
  • Add sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for added nutrition.
  • For a spicy kick, include crushed red pepper flakes in the filling.
