Description

These Breakfast Sliders feature fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, all tucked inside soft slider buns. Ideal for brunch or a quick breakfast, they are easily customizable to suit everyone’s taste!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: hot sauce or ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. Lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the wire rack.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown. Monitor closely as cooking times may vary.
  5. Remove bacon from the oven and let it drain on paper towels.
  6. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl, adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
  7. Whisk until fully combined.
  8. In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  9. Pour in the whisked eggs and let sit for a few seconds before gently stirring.
  10. Cook until just set but still slightly runny, then remove from heat.
  11. Slice the slider buns in half using a serrated knife.
  12. Optionally, toast the cut sides of the buns in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown.
  13. On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous spoonful of scrambled eggs.
  14. Add a slice of crispy bacon on top of the eggs.
  15. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon.
  16. Place the top half of the slider bun on each assembled slider.
  17. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  18. Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  19. Cover with aluminum foil to keep them moist while the cheese melts.
  20. Bake for 10-15 minutes, checking after 10 minutes for melted cheese.
  21. For a golden top, remove the foil for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
  22. Let the sliders cool for a minute before serving.
  23. Drizzle with hot sauce or ketchup if desired.
  24. Serve warm, either on a platter or individually wrapped.

Notes

  • Customize your sliders with avocado, sautéed spinach, or tomato for added freshness.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like pepper jack for a spicy twist or cream cheese for a creamy texture.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute bacon with sautéed mushrooms or tempeh.
