Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, one large egg, and 1 teaspoon of non-alcohol vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and lump-free.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the large egg, milk, neutral oil (or melted butter), and 1 teaspoon of non-alcohol vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Spoon about half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Dollop spoonfuls of the cheesecake filling over the bread batter, distributing it somewhat evenly.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup of caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer in dollops or drizzles.
- Gently spoon the remaining bread batter over the cheesecake and caramel layers, spreading it to cover as much as possible.
- Drizzle another 1/4 cup of caramel sauce over the top of the bread batter and swirl it into the batter with a butter knife or skewer.
- Bake for 50-65 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the bread portion comes out mostly clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before lifting it out to cool completely on a wire rack.
